Woke up and had 2 cups of kashi and a cup of milk. Went for a 3 mile walk with Shache and Dylan at Winnikenni. The walk was really tiring but still really nice out today. Had a turkey burger with whole wheat bun for lunch then had salmon,sweet potato and salad for dinner. I had a couple scoops of peanut butter after lunch.
Around 8:30pm went out for a run. I ended up running 6.12 miles measured with the timex watch in 1:16:17.
This was actually a pretty good time considering that I started really slow and did not anticipate pushing up the hills. I ran down into groveland on the sidewalk which is pretty safe at night.
This run also helped work my conditioning a little bit by my pushing it in areas. Once agian locking in and pushing in a focused way for 10-20 minutes was key to the success of the run. My fitness level must be higher and today it felt good to eat pretty well.
