Just finished a 6.05 mile jog and chatted with Gordon. Discussed the suit cleanse I performed for going to Millis and then for the Winchester awards night. It is important to invest in yourself and show others that you care about your appearance and are moving forward in approach.
Treated myself to two pieces of flatbread pizza and was not sure of the calorie count so entered it in at 600 a piece. Benefitting from focusing on completing runs and bein in health. Being sure to visualize myself in the roles I want to be in and going foir them.
The run I took tonight was down to Groveland on the sidewalk. The night was peaceful and the rain felt good. Used the timex watch to measure distance and time.
I feel as each day I figure a little more about my focus and goals become clearer. Being able to focus on my goals and be in balance in diet and with working out really puts my mind in a good place. Practicing focus has allowed me to be more focused in different areas. Using the workout calendar feature in mapmyrun is pretty good at measuring goals and amount of time working out. Unfortunately this week there were senior awards and a trip to millis which took a considerable amount of time.
Some of the things that have helped me along with the diet has been getting really good running shoes(asics)
and also investing in more workout gear from marshalls or whereever. Putting all of these things together has worked over the past couple weeks. I have lost 4 pounds going from 242 to 238. I am trying to weigh myself officially on Sunday nights. Need to go out and purchase healthy food such as cliff bars and fish this weekend. Desire to take a yoga class on some level soon. I really need the stretching.
